Speakers installed and pics!!! Sounds GREAT!

Over the past weeks I've been in the process of installing components into my front doors and installing a four channel amp. After blood shed, much perspiration and a few... choice words my ears were finally able to hear the fruit of my labor. WOW these speakers sound great. At first the speakers did not sound that great they seemed really bright and there didn't seem to be any mid. After about an hour playing I don't know but these speakers came alive. I could hear all the individual instrumentals mid were strong but not hard hitting. You could hear every hit of the drum. I did set the tweeters to the -3db because it was little bright for my taste originally but now they are perfect. Anyone who is looking for a great component set for cheap buy these. Even the mobile audio said other $500 speaker sets can't compare to these and they were right.

Speakers: Pioneer Premier TS-D720C
Amplifier: MB QUart Discus DSC 450
Wiring Kit: Rockford 4ga wiring kit

Door Woofer and Tweeter

Crossover in door behind Door and Window Switch

Amp Installed (Had to put original sound proofing in can't afford dynomat yet)

Great job! Those look nice and be glad you're installing your amp on the back wall. I'm going back and redoing mine right now.

FYI, even if you put deadening in, leave your stock deadening there. The way you worded it makes it sound like you would take it out after deadening.

I had my seats pulled out last week, but this past Sunday I pulled off just the stock deadening and it makes quite a difference. I was surprised, as I always thought it was just some cheap crap.

I love me some D-series pioneers. Wish best buy would let us carry them in store, we could see the hell out of em.

yeah these speakers are a diamond in the rough. I got lucky the local audio store by me had them for $130. And i'll keep the deadener in mind and keep it back there, but i noticed the huge difference when it wasn't back there.

I wish my xovers were that small. My xovers on my ppi together are about the size of your amp. Well done

Very nice install.. Interesting place to mount the crossover, Do you have a cover for were you mounted the tweeters. I have a similar set up with some Focal speakers.

Yeah they get really loud. Loud enough that they hurt before they distort and that's with the gain turned a little lower from where it could be set. Install went pretty well just took my time and did it when I could. Overall took me the course of two weeks maybe 9 hrs of work most of it learning how to take the car apart haha.
