Will this enclusure fit?
If you don't have a power passenger seat you might be able to fit it under there. I had mine mounted on the back wall and it never overheated........ if I were doing a dual sub setup again that's where I would put mine.
Thanks man, you've really helped out a lot. I just want to know all the details so I can throw this stuff in as soon as I get back home. With a 1ch amp, the best way to do 2 speakers is piggytail the cables together before they hook up to the terminal right? That's how JL has it on their site for a 3 speaker setup, but they don't show anything for a dual.
I just noticed your location... I salute you Mr. Starkey and all of your kind that keep us free. I have a brother and brother in-law serving in the Army. My brother is in Iraq and brother in-law in Afghanistan. God speed and may the lord be with you all!

x2!!! I was just like you Starkey... Very leery of putting the amps on the back wall, because of heat... And also because of the time I thought it would take. It's been a couple months since I did the install behind the seat, and very glad that I did. They're out of the way and I'm still trying to make them overheat and they just won't. It may have something to do with the PA weather this time of year, so I won't get a true test until summer comes.

But anyways, back to audio haha. So, looks like behind the seat it is. I also recieved my reply for JL audio today, and the tech told me that the 500/1v2 will push the W3 as hard as it possibly can go, without harming it. That with proper tuning I will be amazed at the output of that little speaker. So, I think for now I'm going with the single foxbox and gonna run the one W3 instead of 2. Looking at rims too, so not cutting corners, just being money smart. Spreading it out some.
By the way, I have a thread in the Suspension section with pictures, and details of what's already on my truck, and what's ordered if anyone's interested to see what they're helping build up
