Post 5.25 Infinity Kappa Component System?

I was wondering if anyone has or has heard the 5.25 Infinity Kappa Component System in an F-150 before. What do you think of the sound? I will soon have a 2000 standard cab flareside.

No, but forget infinity. Go with MB Quart, Focal, or Image Dynamics. Excellent sound quality.

Skip the kappa's, they suck. As an eclipse and boston accoustics salesman, I'll tell you this. I've heard a lot of speakers before and it's hard to find a component set that sounds better than the boston rally 6 1/2 component set, at least for the low retail of $269 for the set! Their pro series components are awesome too but go into the mid 3's. For the money, those bostons will sound 10 times better than kappas. Just my opinion!

Thumbs up

Well since we are talking components Memphis sound makes a great set for a reasonable price of $165.00 for the set.
5.25 woofers and alum tweeters.
12db octave crossovers with mylar caps etc.
IMHO they sound as good as components sets costing more $$$.
Audiobahn makes some good woofers but I haven't heard their components sets.
Also remeber the installation is far more important the the quality/cost of the components.
I've even heard a little $65.00, yeah that's $65.00 set of MCM components and they sounded better than most coax costing twice the $$.

No I haven't. Although I have installed 2 pairs of infinity 110T reference series tweeters in my truck and they impressed me. they go for about 100 bucks a pair. Like the other gentleman said another consideration is MB Quart. I also have a liking for Diamond Audio. Especially the new ones since they come with aluminum woofers. Then again these are all opinions. Check out all the companies and decide for yourself.

I might as well throw in my thoughts.

MB Quart are an excellent speaker. As are Boston Acoustic. I personally have the Infinity Kappa 5 1/4 components in my system and they sound great!

Speakers, like many things are a personal pref. If it sounds good to you, that is all that matters. I have not had set yet that did not need some tweaking to get the concert hall dialed. I am VERY particular about my tunes and have been happy with Infinity.

Be Well,

Todd

All I have to say is JL Audio. I have 4 10w3's and 2 sets of the VR525 components... 2 Zapco AG350s' to power the subs and a Zapco AG360 for my components. You want a sweet sounding system that can play any type of music, I got it.

cd

guess I should change my sig too
