Post New subs coming...

Well, it finally happened yesterday, my car audio guy got me a deal on new subs... currently I have 3 JL 10w0's powered by the Zapco AG350 amp. I will be moving to 4 JL 10w3's powered by a Zapco AG1000 amp. Due to lack of space in the cab, I'm going to be installing a box to hold my amps, cap & extra battery in the box of the truck. Right now with the 3 w0's I can hit about 137db. I should hit 144db once I get the w3's put in with more power pushing them...

Question

Why didn't you just go ahead and get the W6's?

54reg,

W3's are better than W6's... they are both DVC, both handle the same power, but the W3's have some new nifty thing on the magnet...

corey,

Can you get any installation pics? I'd really like to see how you've stuffed all of that in your truck.

I have a pic of the head unit & sub processor. I have a pic of the box around somewhere, in fact I have a pic from when the box only had 3 subs in it and another pic now that we cut the 4th hole out and put the new subs in... I'll look for it, and if I can't find it, I'll take another pic. Once I get my new amp rack built I'll take a pic of it too, it's going into the box of the truck cause there just isn't anymore room inside the cab, the back seat is already raised about 6"...
