I just ordered one of them to put in my Super Duty I am still going to have to make a box that will fit.

im just gonna buy a box for 2 12's and somehow modd it, make it bigger so it can take the 2 13.5's.... with enough air space

 

I just ordered the JL Stealthbox for 09+ Supercrews. It comes with the 13.5TW5. I'm hoping it'll blow away the PSD210 I have in there now. Might need to upgrade the amp, time will tell. When it gets here I'll post some pics of the fitment. I'm not stoked about the shape or appearance of the box, but it' supposedly custom formed and perfect for that specific woofer/truck.

 

I have 2 tw5 with a jl 1000/1 and i just broke the box (seperated from the top ) also was trying to know if anybody was running this set up and what kind of cap or power source they are using ?

Try building the box with bracing, make sure you use wood glue and screws, and of course 3/4" mdf at the minimum.

Caps aren't meant to supply power, they're meant for sq.

And I'm assuming by power source you mean battery? Are you having dimming issues or just a curiousity question? If its because you have dimming issues if you haven't done the big 3 I highly recommend that and of course use quality 1/0 wire.

 

Yeah my lights are dimming and i haven't done the big 3 i got a cap 100 farad rockford fosgate that i just bought i have to install it still and see if it helps so i wont blow my alternator . What do u mean by caps aremeant for sq ? Whats sq?

 

Sound quality. They're meant to smooth out response. They may help with dimming, but it's like throwing a bandaid on the a severed limb, it won't fix the problem. I suggest doing the big 3, if you haven't opened the cap yet return it, and if you still have dimming after put the money you would have used on that towards a second battery, or a h/o alt.
