It will fit, The Ext Cab has the same rear seat setup as Screw. My brother has the 06 Harley Ext Cab and i took his box to measure and make mine.

They do pump out really well for the type of sub they are. I took mine into the local audio dealer and they sat in it to try it out and they were well impressed. I am only running one with a JL slash v2 500/1. I had the same issues as HEC when i made my box as it's so tight under them seats. but they really are great subs when you have limited space.

here's mine

Barritia,Your box looks like it has one under the other seat too. So Barritia and HEC, what did the total system cost u guys? What kind of head unit are you using?

I could have put another into that part of the box but after hearing just one on it's own i was amazed at how good it sounded. I then decided to make the box removable so that i could remove the whole thing and put the factory amp and sub back in in no more than 2 mins work. I used high am quick disconnets for the power and quick disconnects for the factory harness. That way i still have use of the flat load floor and can still run the facotry system with zero modification.

I paid about $590 for the Sub with tax and about $599 for the amp with tax and then about $200 on numerous install parts plus a new Optima red top. So in all about $1500 plus the time involed with planning, designing and building the box which was about 40 hours in all.

I am also running the Factory 09 sync/nav system. Did think about changeing it but cant find anything on the market what can touch it for functions. It also sounds very good.

Subs were about $1100 shipped
JL 1000/1 Amp I paid $350 on Craigslist
box made and installed was $450 i gave him $50 tip so $500, Thats making the box, 2 days work, inserting speakers, moving the Amp behind the rear seat mounted on wall, Adjusting the levels and testing.

I too have my Stock head unit with Navigation, Installer told me to look at a different unit, but i need to find something nice with Navigation in it Double Din. When i get some cash slack...

My Brother has a Double Din JVC in dash with Navigation, prox sensor on screen so if you wave your hand by it, it lights up he paid $700 for. Maybe thats how i will go when i get some more cash. It goes for $1000 in the local stores though. So i have to shop around.

Barritia,

That's a great looking sub setup. Nice work.

I only want to take up half of the back since I put stuff under the seat all of the time, so I think that I'll go with half of that. I'd like the amp on the back wall, but it just doesn't look like there's enough air space for mounting and cooling.

also, do you have an amp powering the other speakers? Also, did you use a crossover for the other speakers to keep the bass out of them?

Thanks

It's a really tight fit. You may be better off picking up an LMI seat life which will give you another 2"
