$1300

Ok so my buddy wants to get a sub woofer for his SUV. He has plenty of room for a single 12 box. He wants a single 12in sub woofer that can provide some good boom and good sound quality at the same time. He has around $1300 to spend

So i need suggestions for
(if you had this money what box, amp and sub would u buy?)
Box= $
Amp= $
Sub= $

He could redo his entire system for 1300 and it'd be damn good. mSaLL's was around 1600 and it'll beat most stuff in every way.

Not true really, I dont have huge subs or the absolute best sounding speakers. But a happy medium with great SQ is what I do have.

X2
except for sub i would consider the Fi BL, a DC Sound Lab Lvl4XL (or just the plain level 4), and an Audioque HDC; if he is looking for output, those would be better choices than the Q
and i think his boxes are a little more expensive than that, but i would definitely go with it anyway...he does fantastic work

If he wants to bump, he might want to look into more than one 12.

If it were me personally, I would probably do a Digital Designs 1512 subwoofer, a quality amp to adequately power it, and a ported box built to exact specs.

Keep in mind, I bought a lot of my equipment used.

Working on my 3-way front now, still waiting on the BMs.

Nice setup... Must sound pretty good!

I see the CX64's but is that a set of CTX's as well?

Thanks! Its sounding better and better everyday the more i tweak it.

I had the passive set of CTXs previously. Now i have the CX64s active with HAT L1 tweeters.
