Help me chose

A system

Here's what I'm aiming for

Either, 2 10s, or 2 12s, amp, and box for under the seat. W/O a seat lift, for about 500 dollars. I'd perfer 2 12s, but if there are a better set of 10s, that will give 12s a run for there money. Any opinion is welcomed.

Already tried, but you keep making new threads on the same thing. The only way you'll get good stuff is if it's off ebay. If not it will most likely be junk.

So you think, Alpine, or Pioneer, or Rockford Fosgate, or ID is junk? Not trying to start anything, but I've found all of those brands.

In my opinion I'd stay away from RF.
Unless you listen to rap, I'd recommend going with the 10's. They are much more accurate.

See, I do listen to (c)rap. So I don't know. I like to kind of show off, as well.

Don't know what to tell ya.
I have two 10" Kicker's in mine and they hit pretty hard. Now you won't hear me coming down the street but inside the truck you're definitely feeling it.
If you do go with the 10's I would recommend a down firing box. I had both in mine and the down fire is much much better. I don't know if they have that option with the 12's. From what I've heard from people who have experience with our trucks; the down fire is much better in the F150. Like I said, I had both and there is a big difference.

Ah true, thanks man. Where would you recommend getting a box from?

Supercrewsound has a 12" box but it requires a seat lift. I worked with Mark the owner on the design and for a premade box it's not bad.

If you search the forum you'll find a bunch of different box sites that are talked about. I don't have any experience in buying one online so I don't want to give you a bad site.

From my understanding they're not too expensive and made specificly for our truck.

Alright I will do. Preciate it

Yeah, I've seen quite a few, but the one most people recommend is one that requires a seat lift, which I really do not want to do.

Yeah, why do a seat lift when you don't need one? I'm sure you can get some monster sized sub in there if you did a lift but there are boxes out there that still hit hard without lifting the seat.

That being said, my box is a very tight fit. It took me and two installers to get it fully pushed in and the seat down. With airspace issues they use every bit of space that's there. With it in it doesn't stick out; I'm very happy with my choice.

Exactly, I don't want to have it look awkward. Sorry if you said before, but what system are you running?
