sub help

i just blew my 10" sony thin truck sub. i need a thin sub that can fit in that box... any suggestions on GOOD thin subs?

from what i have heard, the new jl tw is good
some people on here like the pioneer thin sub

but thats only from what i have heard, i don't have experience with em

thats not a bad deal, but keep in mind that you can get that sub for less than $100, so you'll be paying 125 for that box.....you might be able to find that for cheaper

^^ that sub has the same specs (10", 400 RMS, 800 watts, etc.) except taht ones thinner then the comp VR.. is there really any difference besides one being thinner and less expensive (found one for 110) or is the thicker one (Comp VR) better quality or what?

again, i don't specifically have experience with these subs. but thinner subs typically arent going to hit as hard. if you're looking for more bass, try to stay with the deeper sub. what exactly are you trying to accomplish?
how much room do you have, how much $$$, and how much space?

under the driver side seat of an F150 Screw... money isnt really that big of a deal i just want somethin that fits and sounds good.

also is there a big difference between a single 10" or a single 12" sub?

a 12 is gonna be louder and, depending on the sub, will hit a lower note
if you can, go into a few audio shops and hear them for yourself

ive heard the thin rockford p3 in many trucks and i like it to be honest...
