i have the vm9512. great unit built in bluetooth, pretty fancy or whatever you'd like to call it. just not very practical. i still need to install the switch to get the video working properly. but i dont know how to do that, relays arent my thing haha (not much is my thing ) and everyone i ask tells me some kind of stupid answer.

i wouldnt do backflips to recommend it, but i wouldnt totally undermine it.

We had 3 in our display room go bad within 5 months. So hate to say it bro.

Anyways all you need is a switch inline with the pink parking brake wire. 2s on, 2s off, 2s on, 2s off, 2s on. And done.

Theres also another way. http://www.jensenice.com/parking-brake-bypass-t18.html

i wouldnt doubt they would go bad. i got mine for so cheap im not worried at all.

some dumba** kid who works at autozone tried to feed me the bs that if you just mess around with the radios settings, you can turn off the parking brake ground out requirement. he said jensen allows you to turn it off. im 16 and im not that stupid.

That kid from Autozone is right. Look up bypass codes, you use the remote control to access a hidden menu.

I forgot I was going to mention something about this too.
We threw a Phase Linear in my buddies Xpy (which is pretty much the same as a Jenson if Im not mistaken) and through a certian menu there is a place where I turned on "Display Mode" which allows him to watch videos without grounding out the Pbrake wire, and everything else still functions as normal.

do you have the second batt also wired to the alternator, or do you just charge it separately?
and if so, how often do you have to charge it?

Here are a couple of pic's of what I have now but is in process and will be done this weekend. Currently I have 2-Kicker CVT10's and e TMA 500.1 for substage. Last weekend I installed Illusion Audio im6 comps in the front doors, 1 roll of rammat and 3 yards ensolite in front and rear doors. This weekend I will install an old school PPI APA-425 bridged mono Should be about 130 RMS to drive comps and do the "Big 3".
