Now these next 2 are fine but I only have them because my box only protrudes 1/4", is made of 3/4" MDF, houses two 12" subs, and required no seat lift in case my 6'1 @$$ needed to be back there for whatever reason. But yeah, invest in shallow Pioneers or Kicker IMO.
There's no seat lift...the JBLs barely fit. IIRC, the box's mounting depth was like 6-3/4" and the subs' mount depth was 6-9/16" or something like that haha. It was a tight fit. They were a gift from my parents, so that's what I went with. And was actually pretty pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is pretty darn good imo. Much better than the MTX's I had in my last truck. But if I do change, I think I'm gonna go with one p3s. The output will be the same as these two subs combined and I've always thought one sub produces a cleaner sound than two.

I would absolutely stick with the GTOs. The GTOs are actually very nice sounding drivers as I'm sure you know, they sound far better than the P3s IMO. Also, 2 subs will generally sound cleaner because they need less excursion to get the same output as 1 driver alone. Less excursion = less distortion = cleaner sound.

Now if you are comparing 2 10s to a 15 thats a different story.

ive had these 2 for about 2 years now and no problems as of yet. running them at 2 ohms 2 4 ohm svc 12's on each. i had a problem out of the 75.4 but it was because my rear light was leaking when it rained and it got wet. but dryied it out and they havent missed a beat yet. the ony the thing i have left to do is build a good front stage i had some jl xr csi's and cxi's but those are junk so looking to get another amp or 2 to run a active 3way front stage using better drivers and a good processor to control it.

Thanks Sickrick , but it's 1bad86vmax . I was trying to maintain the integrity of the vehicle when I planned my install . I think I have more audio than any truck I've seen on here , and my truck will still carry 6 people in the cab.

Some creative sub boxes on here! I must say, I don't have the skills to make my own box, so I'll be buying one shortly.
