i only found 2 places online to buy a probox 110SQSPB

(1) 10” Square Super Bass Universal with Port


anyone know how this will sound facing up in a regular cab 2005 f150 (yes it will fit, i measured it already)

i am throwing a SL510 in there

 

should be decently loud considering the cab size and that enclosure is specifically for that sub

 

cant be any worse than the POS kicker enclosure it came with lol

thing is 1.05 cubic and vented lol


now if only i can find a decent place to buy it


i emailed them asking where their distributors were at

 

call them, 135 + shipping i hope it sounds good

Never been the biggest fan of Probox's stuff...

Premade ported boxes are a waste and an easy way to mess up a driver.

PORTED BOXES SHOULD BE TUNED FOR THE VEHICLE, SPEAKER, AND FOR GOAL OF SOUND. Not premade.

 

I know KC Autosound is a Probox dealer. He just hasn't had the time to add all the stuff to his site. The man installs like 20 hrs a day. Hit him up on his site or by phone.

 

Check ebay. I have seen some on there.

 

well got it in and installed today

and holy ****, what a huge difference it is


i didnt do the whole "turn the gain down and turn up the bass boost" that they suggested, because i knew better


but man going from that small box (around 1.07cubic feet ported) that the L5 10" came in, to a 2.0cubic feet made the world of difference

not only was it a hell of alot louder...but to my surprise, and maybe my ears are playing tricks on me, but it also sounded like the SQ went up a little bit

 

yeah that doesnt suprise me, but just imagine had you gotten a custom one meant for your vehicle, you would be blown away, and its supposed to be turn the gain up boost down, becasue boost increases distortion

 

i know about the gain and stuff



well i was going to get a custom one, but the only guy that makes em around here...is booked up for the next 6 months...so this will do, and its awesome if you ask me
