Question I need a high sound quality sound system for my 07 SCab...

2007 Supercab XLT 4x4.

I want to redo my stock audio system. If at all posible, I want to keep the factory head unit to keep the "stock look" as much as possible, but with the high parameters I want for this system, I may have to replace the factory head unit.

First, I want a sub box that will deliver deep, tight, clean, accurate bass that will replicate deep 90, 80 hertz 808 bass notes without a hitch as well as deliver acurate regular bass notes. This box needs to fit under the rear seats. Does anyone know of such a box / woofer combination that will do this?

Also, i want to have some ultra clean highs and mids. I want the tweets to to replicate the super high frequencies without sounding artificial. My mid range and mid bass should all sound as one.

I want amps that can deliver the power i need without working too hard but sounds good. I've used PPI amps back in the 90s and they were excellent.

basically i want a good sound Q system. What do some of you gurus think i should do and can i do all of this with $4,000?

Thanks.

I wanted to but I never messed with trucks and the limited space for amps and the like.

i'm gonna search around the Cleveland area and see who does the best work around here and who's done installs in pickups.

There are a sh*tton of us with stuff behind the seat.

Styx - 2 Autotek 900.2, 550.2

F150Truckin - 2 Eclipse XA4100, XA2000 and Alpine MRP-M850.

Myself - JL 500/1 @ 2ohms. JL 300/4 @ 4 ohms bridged.

What do you think about this box?

OK Low E Red and members. What do you guys think of this JL box? I'm thinking about this one. Three people now told me that this box delivers some fantastic bass response!

JL 10W 3V3 PORTED BOX

With a 4K budget your better off with a custom enclosure and different woofer choice

Nu Guy email me. I would rather talk to you about your sound choices differently with a budget like that...
