I had always planned to use the expanding foam in my C pillars and little back doors too.....but I have never done it before.

Is it actually worth it? I would think it would have to make things more solid and maybe absorb some sound, but Ive never seen a whole lot of proof.....

How thick is that peal and seal stuff? cause you were able to put it on the backsides of the panels im assuming not too thick? does it still work decent if it isn't that thick?

How long did it take you to do that?

Did you guys find yourself knocking on the walls and banging on the floor to see how the sound changed as you applied the deadner?

The sytem is pretty much done. I made my own sub box and amp rack, just need to finish up the amp rack cover.

I will be posting pix on the final install in a couple of days

I know it hasnt been hot the last couple of days (here in Houston at least), but how's the smell of that peel & seal? I can only imagine what it would be like during one of those hot McAllen summers.

I'd love to use peel & seal (at least for my floors), but I'm scared of my truck smelling like a steam roller just ran through it.

stix - I was just going through your install gallery. What type of sound deadening did you use on your floors? Is that asphalt or butyl based? If asphalt based, did you have any issues with smell? I'm just looking for input, because I don't have any experience with asphalt based deadening, but I'd try it to save a couple bucks.
