BEST subwoofer list please!
What is the BEST single sub to put with my amp. I have a Sony Xplod amp that is 1200 peak and 500x1 RMS 4 ohm. I was looking at the JL 10w7 or 12w7, but is there a better bang for the buck? Kicker L7 series??? $800 is a lot for ONE sub! I have 2 10" sony xplod's right now but they were cheap and don't quite hit like I want. I am trying to get a lot of bass and am willing to shell out some decent money on the sub this summer when I am working full time. Thanks guys!
Oh I would like a 10", but I know the 12" will give a lot more bass right? I am pretty amateur when it comes to auido, but I did all of the wiring and custom box building in my gallery and it works well. Thanks again!

way cheaper then a W7 and will outperform it by a mile.
Go check out realmofexcursion.com they did a 12" subwoofer challenge comparing all the best 12" subs out there. Fi subs dominated the competition, and the W7 was outperformed by multiple subs that cost much less then it.

I am going to use my existing box with the sub. My box is exactly the way I want it now, so I am going to plexiglass where the front sub is and put the new sub where the back sub is

I will have to see the exact cubic ft I built it for but I think it was around 2.3 or something for the both 10's. I'll have to work it out I can always build a new one that isn't an issue. I can design and build something to fit a 10 or 12" sub's specs. I was just saying I like having my sub setup where it is and I'll modify it to fit the sub's specs.

My other question is how big will the difference be over the 10" sony xplods? They have 280rms to each i believe and the memphis will be 1000rms into one sub. I am assuming the memphis will kick *** over the sony system. Is it worth the $1000 is my question?
Also do I want a 2 ohm or 4 ohm amp that is 1000w rms?
