JL Audio

I have a 2004 F150 Supercrew. I want a JL Audio 10w6v2 to be mounted underneath my rear seat. From the research I have done, I need to lift the rear seat with a LMI lift. Then I should have enough room to mount the sub. Then comes the next problem. Where to mount the amps? I already have eclispe 5x7s and a 400.4 kicker amp for them. I dont know where to mount that either. Also, where can I get a box that is designed for the rear seat after it has been lifted?

You will most likely have to make or have a custom box made for those subs. Mounting depth is right about the max you can fit under there, even with a seat lift. As for amp, look in to mounting it on the back wall behind the seat. Lots of pics on here with amps on the back wall.

Ahh... Young Grasshopper there is much to learn..
Near the metal hoops at the bottom of the seatback are clips that hold the seat in place. Run a search for removal pics.

Will do, lol. I see you have a 10w6v2. Did you lift your seat as well? How do you like it. I would have pm'd you, but this forum requires a minimum of 100 posts or 90day membership .

Same ones as the title 10w6v2s. I've read the seats require a lift. But I need a good looking box and also someone who knows how to install amps neatly. I know that goes without saying but the level of quality and expertise is not always the same with all the shops.
