Well I went to cartoys to look into getting one, and learned some stuff. One, the 10w6v2 wont fit in our trucks underneath our seat unless you only want midgets to ride in the back. You can get a new center console, but that is crazy expensive. I decided on getting 2 10w1v2's instead. THey are going to be downfiring underneath my back seat being pushed by a JL 500.1

the stock audiophile system is one 8w0 i dnt see how much more sound you will get out of a 10w1, stealth box is designed to sound chrisp clear n loud with the 10w3 with the 300.1 thats y u upgrade it the the 500.1 n it will sound good. If you are trying to shake **** off the walls of ur neighbors then you arent gonna be able to hide a speaker unless you do a cab cut or seat lift.. I made my own box for 2 12" shallow mount poineers with a 800 watt mono poineer (Underpowered) that sucks and it sounds good. For a total of 300 dollars for subs, box, amp, and 4ga amp kit cant go wrong

I dont think that the stock system is a JL audio 8wO. However if it is there is a big difference in a 8wo and 2 10w1's. The stealth box is simply a box designed for your truck, and is over priced. If I wanted that they I would simply ask car toys to make me one or purchase one. I have heard both combinations of speakers, and 2 10w1s are louder then 1 10w3. I eventually want to get a 10w6, but you have to get a center counsle made to place it in. To fit in under your rear seat you would have to lift the seat almost 3 inches, which pretty much makes your back seat comfortable for only midgets and children. Pioneers subs are crap IMO. I went to car toys and they hade some of the shallows; I comparred 2 12's shallows, to 2 10w1's and the JL's blew them away.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

I have a extcab short bed 2006 with the JL stealth box and 500.1 amp..
It sounds great. I have also installed a complete JL setup with interior speakers and also a CLEAN SWEEP. The system works great! JL ROCKS....

I'm not familiar with the AUDIOPHILE 8in set up, but the JL 10in ported stealth box rocks....I've had quite a few custom set ups in the past(4 MATTS 12's in a NAVAGATOR-3 JL W6 12's in a MUSTANG and ect.) but this is by far a great CLEAN set up....

Not really what I wanted to hear but that's what thought. I bought my 10w6v2s cause they were a decent price. Maybe I'll have to buy some shallower speakers.
