mounting depth question

does anyone know what the mounting depth is for an 06 reg cab? I am wanting to replace my door speakers. I have some pioneer ts-a series and i want them out really badly. I had them in my ranger when i had it, before i knew anything about car audio. I am looking to put in some alpine type R 6.5" (i work as an installer at bb so i get a great deal on them) but i do not know if they will fit without modification? i realize ill need an adapter plate and all that, im just concerned with the mounting depth. I would obviously at least like them in the front. I suppose i could put type S in the rear if needed. i have a 400 watt rms rockford amp to run them. im am going to get co-ax, if that matters.

You have tons of room for those spks. And the Type-Rs come with the 5x7 mounting adapter plates... (Fiberglass you a set of kicks... )

Are you certified? Cause when i worked at my BBy they were psycho abt the certs.... J/w if you are and if your BBy is too.

no, im not certified yet but im about to take the test for the basic cert. We have two other guys that work there, one has his basic cert and the other has his advanced.

First class cert. is pretty impressive man. Are you going to keep going and get your master cert?

I know you said coaxials... but, If you get the new type r components, they come with a mounting adapter and go right in... You probably get a good discount on them to.

The new 6.5 type r coax's dont come with the adapter.

i have another question. I dont see much point of putting type R's in the rear doors of my reg cab. If i put in type s will they be able to handle 100 watts rms. I know they are rated at 50 but will it destroy them?
