Honestly Im the only person, besides maybe one other, that I have seen rip their back seat out for subs on here.

Besides, real men dont need trucks with back seats
I ran around for almost a year with no back seat, just never got around to building a box to take its place

My 82 Camaro is going into construction to be a demo vehicle for the business this spring. I have six DB Drive Platinum 15s and twelve of thier Platinum series 1200 watt amplifiers. Strapping two 1200s to each 15 producing 2400 watts at 2ohms to each sub. That back seat is so cruel to put people into anyways so out the seat goes and in goes a wall. I have had many vehicles that I ditch the back seat for. The only back seat drivers I need are sub drivers....lol

Can't find any of my pics the car but there it is in the background. We have a lambo door kit and my custom engine goes back into it. Been sitting on a engine stand for about 4 years. Custom built 2.8 v6 with a modified Weiand 4.3l supercharger. We removed the engine and stuck the original bored 2.8 back in it to sell the car after theives raped it but I just couldn't bring myself to sell it. First year of this F body. I know it's not a ford but I'll keep you guys posted of the stereo build.

The caddy is the vehicle that I have been rebuilding and finally leaves this weekend if everything goes right. I've had this bitch for a month now. Working on it whenever I can. No big hurry, it's owner has to serve 90 days for child support. He can spend $8500.00 with me but can't pay his baby momma. Go figure.

What's all this talk about taking the rear seat out? My performance system days went out after highschool, my old silverado had a blow thru with 3 12" Kicker L7's with 3 1000 Watt amps, to each speaker, all kicker components. etc. etc......

I just want something to sound loud when I want it, and nice and clear. I wanna try these out. Anyone know where I can get these online?

DD's are geared more towards SPL, although it does mostly depend on the install. Myself I used to be the "Hell yea JL Audio is the best" guy, Oh how naieve(spelling?) i was. It is so hard to tell people, that there is quality audio w.o it having to be JL Audio, Kicker, Kenwood, Alpine. When ever I mention, DD, RE, FI, rainbow everyone just looks at me with a blank stare likes they are some cheap Pyle swapmeet subs/amps. Which is why I have made it my goal to use all un-heard of name brands as my friends like to call it. I've already started with buying my Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks, man those things are sweet. And i'm gonna continue with hopefully 2 DD 1508's and probably an Incriminator audio amplifier. Back on topic though DD does make some really good quality subs at a great price. For our trucks i doubt we can fit anything bigger than their 1500 or 500 series subwoofers under our seats at least.

I've got 2 TC-Sounds TC1000 12's under my backseat and I'm VERY pleased with them, I just need more power only running 300 watts to each but they can easily handle 600 a piece.

I was looking at a set of those but the price is NOW outragious.
Well compared to what they used to be. I guess $270 isn't that bad.

I believe DD is located in downtown OKC. I even think an installer I know works for them. For being a local company I do not think I have ever heard their stuff.

That DB drive stuff sounds good. Their SQ Honda CRX car is running their speed series. A customer installed some of the DB drive Euphoria and said they sounded so good, he wished he would not have bought the Polk for his own personal truck.
