    I have a 2008 f150 Limited with what looks like dealer installed code systems remote start.
    I Hve 2 seperate fobs and would like to have one.
    I ordered some frome ebay with 4 buttons ,is this possible?

    I was reading through the F150 Online forums and thought you might be able to help me with an install i'm doing. I have a 2008 F150 KX4 super crew 4x4 with FKE, and I'm installing the Ford PowerCode remote start unit. The only thing I have not gotten to operate correctly is the driver priority unlock. As far as I can tell, I have everything hooked up according to the Ford installation manual. All locks unlock on the second button press, but I cannot get the driver's side to unlock on the first press like the OEM FKE fob. I have the red/orange wire cut in the drivers sill, with the Brown and tan/red connect to the switch side, and the tan connect to the BCM side. Any thoughts on what to check here?

    Hey, I believe you sold me my NX7000 JVC back in 08 along with an used amp and some speakers. I lived in VT at the time. I have an 06 F150 Xlt.

    Well I think I'm in need of a new one. My touch screen doesn't work when you touch the button also the map button turns the vol down.
    Any idea whats going on. I liked the unit a lot so If I could get it fixed at a decent price I'd keep it. Otherwise I need to replace it.

    I've read a number of threads concerning remote start on 09 XLT. I am purchasing an 09 XLT Supercrew with Sync. It currently has a two keys and 2 remote fobs, Security/alarm, power windows/lock/heated mirrors (i think, i know it has the signal indicators in the mirrors anyway). I would like to add remote start and do not care to carry a second/additional fob around. I also do not want to loose any current factory security/keyless entry functions. What do you think is the best option? Is there a better/newer way to get the 6 button remote without having to manually connect a dozen or so wires? I would prefer plug and play but can read schematics and splice and solder with the best. Any advise would be greatly appreciated with part numbers and sources. Thank you, Barry

    White size wire should i run from the viper alarm door trigger wire to the door trigger wires behind the seat?

    KC, Are you still offering your knowledge to those of us in need? If so I sure could use some help with a DEI 712T Valet keyless entry system I'm trying to install in my 99 F150. The vehicle has power locks, but not the keyless system. I have verified that the RAP module is not present and did the key on/off that cycles the door locks if the keyless entry is installed.

    The main wires I'm needing help with are the Pink/Yellow and Pink/Green wires for the lock/unlock. From what I've read on the net, these need to be cut and joined to the motors and switches. I've located the wires where they come out of the driver's door, but I don't want to cut them until I know which side of the cuts will be switches and motors. (Does it matter that both the switches and motors are in the door?)

    The other wires I'm unable figure out are
    (-) horn honk output
    (-) 500mA ground when armed output
    (+) 12V constant power input - On this one everything I've read says to use a yellow or green/purple from the ignition switch. My ignition switch has both so do I just pick one or will one wire work better than the other?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    KC, I have heard that the f150 before 2004 don't have a "true" double din dash opening. Although, it appears to be 4" to me. I have an 03' and want to go with a double din HU like a kenwood or pioneer that has dvd, nav, etc. What are the troubles associated with this install?? if any trimming is needed will it prevent me from putting the factory hu back in the future if I decided to sell the truck? Lastly, what is the appearence like with this install, I really want a factory look.

    hi travis, I have an 2007 F-150 and have installed a code alarm ca650. i was wondering how to hook it up to where the drivers door unlocks on the first push of the button and then the other doors unlock with the second push. also if it is possible can i make it to turn the domelight off with the lock button like the factory system?
