I thought so.
If you start to eliminate things like subs, guy toys, etc. because "she thinks" it will harm your child , you wil not be a happy person which will make it hard to be a good dad.

Yes Sir, I remember that conversation with my wife back in the mid 80's, had a bike when we got married and she loved riding on it, had a kid and next thing you know bike was for sale..... but, I've long sense rectified that problem, wife is long gone, kids are over 18 and bike is in garage....

They aren't anymore compared to what they used to be The studio 150 blows away the dc350.2, c2k2.0, and the ref350.2. The new Zapco's retail pricetags are stupid for what you get when you can get an old studio for around $100 on ebay.

I have Klipsch RF-7s and Paradigm Studio 40s hooked to a B&K reference amp and pre amp in my home. They sound pretty sweet I also have a set of Purist Audio speaker cables they are about 1-1/4" thick.

Has anyone tried running the same sub upfiring versus downfiring under the rear seat? I have enough depth under the seat of my Ridgeline to fit a 12 or 12's. Something like the IDQ or new Mag. But because of the design, it could only be upfiring. Anyone done any comparison. I have always used downfiring. How would upfiring in to the seats sound? As good, not as good, no real difference?

Ive run both up and downfiring, noticed no real difference. I have heard the new mag v4 upfiring and it disappears/blends better than anything i've heard. However, this was in a hatchback.

Don't know either, But I can say when I build my new box for (2) 12" profi's, it will be upfiring.. The way I see it, can't be any worst than down firing and if its any better.... thats a plus to me..... I think down firing these big 12's is killing some of the bass output with restricted air movement, especially the real low end bass 20-40 range...

I also like to "feel" the low bass that you really can't hear, thats missing in my install until my system is almost maxed out.. I mean like 2000 to 2500 watts plus between all seven channels, then it comes in good, but at that point its so dam loud, its not really comfortable to be in the truck for long...

my 4 8's have no problem digging down to 20 Hz, the key to that low bass that you feel is having enough cone area, a sealed box, and a driver with a low fs

I'm sealed at 1.4 cubes on a single 12", adding another 12" when I build new box... thats going to double cone area, Fs on a Profi 12" is 27 Hz
