Shallow mount subs...Kicker or Rockford Fosgate?
I have one 10'' JBL (GTO1002D) in a custom box in the back of my regular cab 89 150 its tight but it fits. I had never heard of shallow mount subs untill latley, so I just took some measurements of what I could work with and went sub shopping. I personally didint care what it was just if it would fit. Now my local futureshops got some 12'' shallow mount pionners (sp?) anyone run these? are they any good? or should I wait for something else to come along?
Sorry to the thread starter for the tread hijack, if you mind I will edit the ?'s out.

I saw the dual box from supercrewsounds....I plan on purchasing that box. I dont want to go through the trouble of making one. Man it sounds like either brand of sub will do great. I plan on running a 600 watt Crossfire sub amp with built in xover. Gotta figure out where to mount it.

I love my Rockford p3sd4-10 in my self build downfiring sealed custom center console enclosure hits real nice once you break it in and you can really feel the vibrations of the bass. if I have the money though id throw a Rockford t1 shallow mount in there and be on another level
