I've got a JL 8" W2 in my Screw.

Everytime I turn off the truck and the radio goes of the subs pops acouple times. Anyone know what this is from?

 

I believe its just the sub turning on. The sub is turned on after the stereo comes on by the blue led wire and it gets a jolt of power. I'm talking out of my anos, but seriously i believe thats what it is after installing a few systems. Nothing to be worried about!

 

I wouldn't take advice from somebody's "anos" whatever that is!

THIS IS NOT NORMAL. If your amp is fine, you have a ground loop. You should take the time to fix it. Most common cause is a poor amp ground. Plenty of threads about this stuff.

 

are you running the factory headunit or an aftermarket one?
