I have an 80gb that I use for audio and video. If it were me, I would look at one that does video as your head unit supports video iPod, does it not?

There are not really a lot of different ones. There are the video models that start at like 30gb and the audio ones that start pretty small. I have a Nano for my wife that is like 4 gb. It is great for when she runs. I love my 80gb model. I have around 10 movies and 30 or 40 albums on it and it is not even half full yet.

Go with the 80gb Video iPod. That's what I have. Tons of space for video and songs. Mine works great with my Alpine W205.

I would have to say the 80 gig as well. They had them at Sam's Club for 220 last week. I still think it's crazy my last computer had a 80gig hard drive. I was told by the computer store I didn't need one that big and I would never fill it up.LOL

i have the old ipod mini, the ones they dont make anymore. its only 6gb, doesnt hold movies, and doesnt even have a color screen.

BUT its indestructable. ive cracked the screen, dropped it 1000 times, stepped on it (with cleats), etc etc and the damn thing just wont break (so i still dont have an excuse to get one of the cool news ones). :o

i have owned two ipods, they are cool gadgets but i hate itunes it is way to complicated and difficult to mess with probably because its a macintosh program and most people use it on microsoft software, i recently bought the Microsoft ZUNE and its great its not near as complicated and it has a larger screen to view videos with. right now its only available in 30gb but its preety sweet plenty of memory to hold lots of music vids and the coolest thing about it is you can wirelessly share songs and pics its kind of like bluetooth on a cell phone. it runs $249 same as the 30gb ipod, and the Zune software is so much more advanced than itunes and way easier to use, unlike itunes you can hook up to someone elses computer who has a zune and get there songs without having to erase all of yours and replace with theirs. now i wont have another ipod unless someone gives it to me, even then its goin on ebay.

well i guess that just furthers my case, cause i sure as hell couldnt figure it out. must be a quite difficult process. besides how can you compare anything mac to microsoft when the world is basically run by microsoft software. dont know the actual statistics but almost every computer in the world nowadays uses windows, seriously how many apple computers do you see. ipods are tight mp3 players and they were the pioneer, but face it ipod is the only thing keeping macintosh in business. and 99:100 people will tell you that itunes is a pain the ***
