anyone used any RE subs?

im looking at replacing my two JBL subs with either two Treo TSi 10s or two RE re10s... ive used the TREOs before and love them, but i have the chance to try out these new RE subs that the shop just got in for a bit less money. i have never used or heard any of these RE subs before and just wanted to know if any of you had used any of them...

Dupuis built a dual RE 8 box.

Resonant Engineering used to have good products at a nice price. Ever since they were bought out by US Amps thier prices have pretty much DOUBLED. They are still nice products though...I just wouldnt buy them for retail anymore.

The RE series is their bottom of the line model, and although they do get plenty of praise, the RE line is just something I would skip over.
Just curious if dont mind me asking, but what are they wanting price wise?
At their old prices they were a nice deal...at the new prices, they are just like most others IMO.

The SE series, the one most appealing to me, used to be had for 160ish bucks for a 12...now to buy one new, its 300+ bucks for one if I remember correctly.

So, overall nice stuff, but they just cost an arm and a leg anymore compared to what you used to get for your money...thats enough for me not to want to buy NEW ones.

i can get the RE 10's for like 65 bucks a piece. i used to work at the shop so i still sortof get a bit of a discount. I went and checked out a few other subs today to see what else would fit in my box, i looked at the following: JL 10w1, Memphis M-Class 10, Treo TSi 10, Boston G1 10...I will be using two 10s in a supercrew sound dual 10 underseat box for my supercrew as is stated in my sig. also using the same amp listed in my sig for my jbl subs (JBL CS300.1). Just looking for the best sound for my particular setup and seeing what other people have used before. The box has like 1 -1.2 cubic foot of airspace available. I can get the best price on the TREO($75/sub) or the RE($65/sub), but i am open to what sounds the best

Id try to listen to all of them and see what seems like the best to you. You really cant go wrong with any of those brands.
Id say those RE RE's are probably your best bang for the buck. Should be able to hold its own agains any of those other subs, and its the cheapest one.

I still love those little 8"s. Still kicking and going strong and I have 200 watts going to each. They are the lowest line of RE or what used to be RE, but their plenty for me.
