what kind of sub box can i put in my 01 supercrew
sub box
Mark, that looks great. I am planning something pretty much just like that. The only thing I think would look better is if the box was about 1-2" taller and your cut was up above the access panels so you didn't see the cutouts.
I have a Kicker SL7 8" that should fit right in the behind the seat. And I have a Kicker 550.2 I am gonna push it with.
I didn't want to do under the seat because of storage issues. So behind the seat where that panel is seems to be all wasted space anway. Great job guys

Are you able to still fold down your back seats?

Hmm...That is very tempting but I'm hesitate to start cutting. Do you have any pictures of the installation with both seats all the way down? I'm wondering if I could get away with that setup with my 2 crazy dogs in the back (with the seat down)
bigrook99- I can not fold them down with it in there but if I want to take it out all I have to do is unplug it. there is a plug with all the wires at the tube, I think it might take about 10 seconds to remove the tube. -- --- - - south_ms_sprcru- thanks

Also, there is a gap on both sides of the box at the bottom where the back panel flares out as it hits the floor of the truck. Makes a good handle and a good access point for reaching in and unplugging the wires.

I made up my own approach to put two 12s in a supercrew back seat
(more pics in link in my sig)
Without front seats installed

With front seats, but interior is dirty

Oh and here is the frame work that mark was talking about
