Thanks

Bryan made the box, I believe he ended up with around 1.1 cu ft/sub after driver displacment (.15 for Mags).

For power, anywhere from 800-1500 will work, depending on you box and what you like.

D has 900 on his, Bry has 2000 between his two, and I have 1200 on my one...

Im not even sure where to buy a Mag anymore...
They will cost you a pretty penny if you buy them new. Granted, its still much less than a W7 though...

Who is Bryan? 1.1 is a little small correct?
If I do the pair I was thinking 1500 - 2000 not sure how much to power the doors with to not get lost in the boom.

Brypink2 is Bryan, sorry about the confusion

1.1 is on the smaller end of things, but it still works good. A lot of people are liking them in about 1.25 cu.ft.; not much bigger.

1500-2000 for a pair will definatley get them going...
Not sure how much power youd want so you dont kill out your front stage...all depends what your running up there.
You can always turn the gains down on the sub amp...

That would be counter productive to turn them down.

It all depends on what you are expecting in the end. Or, get some components that can handle it up front like me.

Im saying if you end up with a front stage that cant keep up...then you'll have to turn the gains down so you can hear anything.

If your amps have remote gains then just keep em up when your in a basshead mood, and turn it down when you actually want to hear something besides bass.
Remote gain is the shizznizz.

I would encourage you to look into Adire Audio Brahmas. They give the w7's a run for their money, at only half the price with a flatter BL/Le curve. Power handling is on par.

Nothing...

Im getting rid of this truck, so I never really got to involved with the stereo install. If I had intentions of keeping this truck, I would have an Optima Yellowtop and the Big 3 upgrade on it...
With those two things my electrical system would be good I believe...right now I have slight headlight dimmage on heavy bass notes...

Thumpin' sub!
A 12 is going to be a tight squeeze though, at 7.125 inches mounting depth.

Where can you get the Mag D2's and price?
