This is where I first started reading about car audio and then ended up at caraudio.com. The internet is a wonderful thing. Is this feasible? Germ driver with cal 26 and cal 26 x-over. Save my simple mind the complexities of the Germ x-over. Still get the cripness of metal cone and smoothness of silk and a less complicated x-over.

Unfortunately it wouldnt and it would ultimately be more expensive. Not to mention having to take out a passive network from a Profi set due to the CAL26s not having one included. In the end it would be substantially more trouble than just getting the Germ set. The Germ set is still a metal cone driver and silk tweet...

Thanks Don for fast response. I certainly don't want to spend more than the vans. another balloon burst. I'm sure I can come up with another stupid idea. Where does evereyone install the Germ x-over where it's easily accessable but out of sight of thieves and the wife? Under drivers seat? I plan on putting the amp under the rear seat behind the drivers.
