Depends on the sub.

Smitty and Doug talked like they might be able to squeeze a pair of 12" IDQs under the back seat without a lift. Youll need to find something with a shallow mounting depth (probably less than 5.5 or so, not real sure) and something that requires very little airspace.

As for the amps, on the back wall behind the seat back. The cap can go under the tires J/K, there is plenty of room back there for a cap and a few amps.

That's good to know for future reference.

I am still planning on getting ahold of a 12" Image Dynamics IDQ and giving it a try. It has a mounting depth of 5 3/4".

You'll be able to do it. Just cut a hole out on top and put a plate up there like mine. I bet it would work.

Also, those prefab boxes fit easy, they have like 5.5"+. When you build your box, go in there and add a 1/4" here and there...then cram that thing in under the seat...I'm sure you will get the mounting depth you need.

That is very tempting to attempt. The power level is about right, mounting depth near perfect, and I wouldn't need to do a seat lift. There any other contenders for shallow 12's?
