No sound from my speakers...

I have a 1995 F150 and I get no soudn from my speakers. The radio is a Panasonic CD with removeable face. a guy at Circuit City said one of the speakers was bad. Does this sound accurate? Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you are not getting anysound at all,it may be something more than a bad speaker. Try reseting the head unit first, then if still nothing take a 9v battery and touch them to the speaker wires and you should hear a click or pop when you do, if you dont you have a bad speaker. Do this to all spoeakers to teast.NEVER trust circuit city, always tring to make a buck

Do you have a multi meter? If so, put in on the lowest AC Volt setting you can, and run some music through the cd player at a higher volume. You should get a reading on the meter. If not, there is either faulty wiring, or the internal amp might have taken a dump. I

Its not a setting on the HU that is set wrong is it?
