L7 Sub Box???

I want to know what is the biggest L7 subs you can get under your seat in an f150? I dont even know if they make the square l7's to fit under a seat but I am just wondering if yall know anything about this. What is a website or anything that has info on this. I want to get 2 10's or 2 12's L7's in my truck.

Check out ebay item: 200039561433

Looks like this is for an L5 and even then if you look at the pics looks like he had to cut out the top (since sub is mounted upside down) to allow for the magnet. It looks like then he put some fiber glass to fill in the hole.

With a mounting depth of more the 5.5" for both the 10 and 12 you will need a seat lift to be able to make them fit. I picked up my seat lift off of ebay for around $75, half of what it is new from LMI. I still have not installed the seat lift, mainly got it for just in case I wanted to add some subs at some point. Even still if you add up all the money spent on a system, what's an additional $150 for a seat lift. I would keep an eye out on ebay they do pop up every now and then.

I had 2 12" L7's under my rear seat, I made my own lift kit, with longerbolts and alum cylinders as a spacer. bout 10 bucks to lift it, but then I took the rear seats out and built a bigger box 2.0 cu ft per sub, and it really thumped till I blew them finally after 5 yrs of playing them. I can give you some more info later on how, just let me know what ya wanna know.

I got the upfire box, and added 1.5 inches I believe for the subs to mount in them. They were still just shy of the rec air space, It sounded ok for a while then I wanted to build a bigger box for bigger bass so I did. The seats as I explained earlier the hard part was the center bolt, I had to heat up and bend the all thread for it to finally work properly. You would just have to be a creative person to get it done I guess, lol. I believe I still have the box in my storage somwhere. I cant remember where I got the bolts from but I wanna say TSC, had some of them. I'm fixin to buy 2 more L7's and put my other big box in, either that or buy four and build a back wall for them. The only issue with that is to many people wanna ride in the back.

I may have some pics somwhere if that might help some more.

you also could make a set up like mine is, where i have plenty of room for 2 12's and still have two full seats in the back, and someone can sit on my box if necissary.

Check sig for pics of my set up, in my gallery and my "sub box" thread
