MillionBuy.com looks like there warrenty is a joke..

to get up to speed on the problem, check my other thread out...

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=254064

I have heard nothing but good about MillionBuy.com so I bought new speakers (Polk MMC6500 and Polk MMC650) from them...

if you looked at my post in the link above, you already know 1 channel went up in smoke either due to Solder Strip laying in crossover or just a bad crossover to start with....

I called MillionBuy and advised them, they said to send just the bad parts, should be replaced within 3 to 5 days, so I did....
Called them 3 days after they received the speakers, box setting there, never opened....
Called 7 days, still setting there unopened....
Called 10 days, still unopened, they said will be check in on Mon 10/09 or Tues 10/10
Called today and was told my speakers have been sent to Polk and they can do nothing intil Polk gets back with the them on replacing them or not...
also told me to send the rest of the set of MMC6500 to them and MAYBE Polk will just give me a new set....

WTF why would I want to uninstall the rest of a good system and keep in mind the tweeter cups a bonded in my door panels, they should have told me this to start with when I first call with the problem....
I was told these speaker had a 1 year warrenty though MillionBuy because they are not a Polk Dealer.....
So why am I having to wait on Polk to get my speakers replaced.....

I know a lot of members here buy from them and if you have a problem, now you know where you stand with MillionBuy's warrenty......

I might have replacements by Christmas.... maybe...!!!!

Thats some crappy luck your having buddy. Ive never had any experience with them but Im not sure I want to after reading this, sounds like customer satisfaction isnt to high on the priority scale.

Hopefully the rest of the problem will go in your favor...It would suck to have to uninstall everything, and send them back to MillionBuy, then have the speakers set there for 10 more days before they get back to Polk about it.

Man, these people are a class act, I just got off the phone with them for thrid time this evening, was told I can gut my truck and get a refund, or buy a new set of Polk's from them, uninstall what is left in my truck, install the new set, send them the old set, with the tweeter cups from the new set...
then send in for a refund... I did'nt want to give them any more money, but I thought about it and called back.. now, 45 minites later, they know nothing about doing that.... yes, a real class act here....

never again, I would not recommend MillionBuy to anyone even for 1 foot of Cheap Speaker Wire..... no way...

both came with a 1 year warranty, Polks have a 3 year warranty from a Polk dealer, MillionBuy is not a Polk dealer, so you get a 1 year from them.. but save about $200 over dealer prices, they have a special now with Free Shipping on orders over $200.00 and under 30 Lbs... /QUOTE]

I would have thought you learned after the great customer service you got from that nonauthorized eclipse dealer you bought your headunit from.

Sorry for your bad experience but you are just one of many. There are many stores like them here in Ca. that sell seconds, b stock or refurb stuff that has no warranty contrary to what they might say....

Just let me know. It's time to taste the Rainbow (Rainbow speakers that is)!

I know I can get Rainbow and DLS...not sure what else...I'd have to ask. Plus, it's from an authorized dealer with warranty (if you know how to install properly).

The SLCs can handle that (if the amp is set properly)...they are about $230 IIRC. But, if you can afford the jump...go for a pair of Germaniums...about $450. They will sound great on that much power.

My PowerLines are rated at 180 RMS...my 9.0 is giving them 300 when they want it (w/ no problems).

You can compare prices here:

The Rainbow site is here:
