take your stock speaker and trace it just a little bigger for a starter...
BTW" I have been trying to get speakers in my truck for 2 months...

Again...sorry for the inconvenience. Things like this can't be foreseen and it's unfortunate it happened to you. I will see to it that this gets resolved as soon as possible.
For the adapter...I just traced the outline of my stock 5x7 speaker and cut a 6.5" hole in the center.
