Thanks alot for your help, thats what I was thinking it was. I was thinking it was either that plate or a ring around where the sub drops in the box.

So what are your thoughts on the pillow stuffing I used in the box. Do you think it would perform better with or without the stuffing?

Honestly, I have experimented putting polyfil in my boxes and yet have heard a difference in any of the boxes I've own...none. Because of that I don't even bother with it anymore. Its basically used to make the sub(s) think theres more box volume in smaller boxes, but like I said...I could never tell a difference in my boxes.

Plus, the BMs have a suggested sealed box volume ranging from .4 to 1 ft^3. I would at least be in the .8 to 1 ft^3 range.
