How to run new speaker wire on an '06
Ok, I've pulled the plug out and everything and I do see where I need to drill, but I'm kind of screwed because I'm not confident enough just to drill into that thing and I'm even less confident about taking the brake assembly apart. I'm not experienced enough to do that and I don't want to screw everything up. I really don't know what my choice is now. I don't have the knowledge that you've got brypink2. I'm putting Infinity References in the doors and is it really going to make a difference if I run new lower gauge wire or if I just splice into the old crappy wire somewhere? It's not like I'm putting some bad @ss rainbows in or anything.
Is it ok to push about 60 watts through one of those crappy stock wires? Thanks for all of your help man!

I guess I don't see what is so difficult. It must be completely different than mine, because my girlfriend could figure out how to put mine back together. I'm not trying to insult you. I'm just trying to tell you that it's much simpler than you think, either that, or my truck is COMPLETELY different than yours. I'm gonna go back to the beginning of the thread and see if I missed something...
Sounds to me like you need to take it in to a professional shop, and have them do it. That way, if anything goes wrong, you have someone else to blame it on!
