So what happened? Did you buy a 'dual' or 'road gear'?

oops, where did my manners go?

I still agree with your first post. I work in a hospital and see vendors say what their stuff can do that others can't and it's a big turn off...and unproffessional

onbelay, bry, and lumadar all have said good things

but i will add

every product has its place in the hierarchy of the car audio market. some products' places are simply rooted deeper in fecal matter than others.

I agree to a certian extent...

BUT, there are some company's that arent so great.....companys known for failure and problems; of course some people might love these company's products, but if they have repetitive problems and such, I would say they arent so great. I see it as helping some one stray from a company that, when you purchase their products, it is a hit or miss type of deal with reliability and satisfaction.

And you will always see the statement "there is better for the money", or "thats not worth the money" because in reality, sometimes there is better for the money, or something that isnt worth the money. If you compare say two amps, that are pretty much the same minus the name on the top, but one is much cheaper priced than the other, I would say the other isnt worth the money. Why? Well, why pay more money for pretty much the same thing.
And if you can get something with better quality, functions, etc for the same amount of money as something with equal or lesser quality, less functions etc, I would say that you can get better (the first) for the money.

Also, another case would be when someone is looking for input on say, two different amps. They tell us to compare them. If one is more suitable for thier aplication, I think you should tell them that "Amp X is better than amp Z for you"
After all, thats what forums are for; for help.
If something is better for them than another choice they have, they would probably like to know that. I see it as saving them the money, and the headache.

But there are the people out there that will just say "That product is a (&^&* piece of @&$%" with no reason for the comment, or the ones that preach about how great thier stereo is compared to every one elses.

I think Im pretty much rambling on right now, and not sure what Im talking about so Ill stop.
