How much trimming to mount 6.5 componets in a 06 Expedition front doors. Please let me know.

I'm not sure about the Expy, but if it's anything like the F150...the only trimming I had to do was the door panel. I had to trim about an inch off the back of the speaker pocket.

 

You got any pictures of that modification? I would really like to go with the bigger 6.5's instead of the 5.25's. But after doing so many modifications to my last truck, I'd like to keep this one as close to stock.

I was going to do my new speakers this past weekend, but FedEx lost them. Hopefully Friday...I'll take pics then.

 

It really depends on the 6.5. Boston acoustics Z6's don't require any triming of the door.

nutin but a ford--- that is atruly sick truck where did u get or learn to do that fiber glass work? it looks awesome!
