Yes, but for it to sound the best you need to run it sealed. You don't have enough room to run ported.

Is this what you want, to be heard outside? If so, remove the passenger side half of the seat, install the following gear and you're set. You only need about 5 1/2 cubic feet of space. You could make the enclosure look like a small picnic table, perhaps.(I may consider this myself as it would be particularly handy for lunchbreak at work) The important thing is, you will be heard.

Yeah that is why a system is to be purchased. I just want it to pound the hardest it can without taking/cutting anything out................

Ported will get you a louder sound, by maybe 3dB or so... If you just want volume, do two subs in a sealed box.

I have a 6.4" deep SPL sub in a ported box in my reg cab. I don't turn it up a lot, but **** it's loud when I do. The box is three feet long because of the port and there is no way in hell I'll be fitting the other identical sub (sitting in the original packaging in my room) into this truck if I want a ported enclosure and full use of my seats....

Also, it doesn't take much "to be heard outside". You can do that with about 380 watts of clean power and a good sub/box combo.

Will it be worth it to change to ported? My depth is only 5" so I think I can get both with full use of seats..........
