Sub box/woofer recommendations...
The bass from a subwoofer is non directional, but usually in trucks downfiring seems to be the loudest way to mount the sub. Angling the sub will only make your box more difficult to build, and add no peformance advantage

Thanks for the reply, I have the head unit and door speekers installed along with most of the wires run to install my amp. I wish it would warm up a little so I could get to work on the box. This sub and box that I made in my old ranger hit harder and sounded clearer then most systems i've herd in trucks. That that had spent a lot more $$. I hope to get the same sound out of the Screw.
How high do you need to keep the sub from the floor for the best sound?
For those who love to rock!
I think i'm going to go with 2 8's instead of my 10". I pulled it out of my old box and tried to slide it under the back seat. There's no way it's going to work
. Not sure of the model but its a infinity kapa perfict I think? It has the alumnium cone, double stacked mags and has dvc's. I have one old 8 I think I going to try. I mite build a box for 2 and run the 1 for now in till I can scrap up the cash for 2 new ones. It sucks that my 10" won't fit, but i could rase the seats up 2" or so?
How do the seat lift kits work? Would a 2" thick chunck of alumnium work. I have a mill and lathe I could use to get the bolt holes strait.
