Take a look at Polk Momo 10" or 12" subs. Fairly shallow. Around 6.25" mounting depth.

Hmm, if that box will fit those I got a few suggestions. I though mounting depth for those boxes was around 5-5 1/4 inches??

We need to find some mounting depth specs. Im off to search

EDIT-Just thought of something, don't ALL prefab boxes lift the seat??

Are you speaking about the box lifting the seat?

Well there is a difference between the box lifting the seat and having to physically install a seat life.

Well, I thought it was the same thing isnt it. The box usually comes with a seat lift so the box will fit, doesnt it?

Because the seat is going to be lifted higher than the seat mounts, so there has to be something between there to connect it all (aka seat lift)
Correct? Im not sure I guess, Im not real familiar with prefab boxes.

11kv2 md= 5.25 in
SS rl-i md=5.5 in
diamond d6 md = 5.6

Theres a few of the mounting depths, and im too much of an idiot to read the sealed enclosure qts for the rl-i, so maybe someone else can help you out there.

I'm in with SS. I just bought the box (underseat) MusicMoose and it is supposed to have 5.5" of clearance with no seatlift. Now I'm in the market for the subs and amp

A sub 5.5 inches deep will fit, or its 5.5 inches to the back of the box.

If a sub 5.5 inches deep will fit-then the IA 187 10 incher will fit.

Doesnt look like much-but dont judge a book by its cover
Power handling and Xmax is more than they say. And they are cheap.

If you love yourself you will get two 10 inch rl-i's, what more can i say. But the Incriminators could be interesting also, not too many people run them so its hard to tell.

Lol, nice post. Yes, if it will fit a sub 5.5 inches deep, the SS Rl-i will just squeeze in there.

However, if the total mounting depth is only 5.5 inches. the magnet will be hitting the box. I guess you might have like 1/16'th of an inch space. Lol either way it wouldnt work like that.

Pair of 12 inch Ascendant Audio Atlas's in a homeade box that replaces the entire back seat.

They are only available in 12 and 15 inch models and are to deep (my 12 inch is 6.5 inches deep.

I made a thread with pics in the "Other Audio" forum if you want to see.

Image Dynamic IDQ's are great, but the 10" has a 5.25" mounting depth, and the 12" has a 5.75" mouning depth.
