Alright, I need some sub recommendations..

For the past 3 or 4 years I've been loyal to JL. I have 3 10" W6V2's.. However, I don't feel like getting into the seat lift kit.. so I'm thinking of selling the JL W6's and getting something else..

Anything you guys recommend?? Looking for a clean, tight, but strong bass.. And something that will work in one of the aftermarket boxes..

In my opinion, the best subs you can get for a premade box is, Image Dynamics Idq, Arc Audio, Boston Pro 10.5, Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 and Adire Audio Koda.

Since your a JL fan what about some W1V2's. Fairly shallow depth, have good SQ and still have some decent bump.

You really need to find a box you like though first, then see how much mounting depth you have and how much airspace, then go from there. You will be dissapointed when you find a sub you like, only to find out it wont fit in any prefab box.

Soundsplinter will be a good choice. They do well in the small sealed enclosure that are consistent with all the aftermarket boxes.

Ditto For SS rl-i, low power requirements and high xmax, mmmmmmm I would agree with the JL, but he is going from a w6v2 to a w1v2, i think he might be dissapointed.

Good luck fittin an Rl-i in an aftermarket under seat box.

Unless there is more room under those seats than the older F150's.

Audiobahn, Kicker, Diamond Audio, JL Audio, Alpine (Type-R's only) are all great subs.

Ya the new Type R subs are supposed to be a great improvement but need about 500 watts, and i really wouldnt get into kicker and audiobahn for small sealed enclosures, since i cant think of any ported pre fab boxes for under the seat. If you want a SQ driver that is unique look at this one http://yellow.mynethost.com/~bv12636...e4d64292872377 , reminds me of old ED flatcones.

Youll probably have to go backwards no matter what. Its gonna be hard to find something that is equal or better than a w6 and still fits in an underseat box.
