A day later i decided on the system, and more importantly the price, including in this system that i will have fit on tuesday of next week is : alpine flip out tv headunit, boston acoustics speakers, 4 jl audio 15 inch subs, 2 1000w jl audio mono amps, 1 500 w jl audio 4 channel amp and neons and all the nice things. Everything will go in the bed and be real flush and clean. The reason for this thread is to find out if i'm getting ripped off ?! please tell me what u think of this kick *** system.

Since you obviously didn't REALLY post this thread to find out if you were getting "ripped off", as you stated, the reason must be to brag a bit about how much "someone" can afford to spend for your system. Sounds like it will be really nice and will probably sound wonderful, and I'm happy for you, BUT I'm not impressed with your lack of input into the whole deal. Shops love to see people like you come in. But, if you are like me, you couldn't possibly care any less what others think. But I think you posted this in poor taste. And, you come off like something of an arrogant jerk. But then again, don't we all at times?

Excellent observation. Kudos to you, 97f250, for having the stones to call this jackass out...

Shiat,
subs-200
amp-200
comps-200
other amp-200
HU-170
box-30
wiring-50

total-1050 (actually under I just rounded to higher numbers)

Im willing to bet it will sound just as good (maybe better) as your 12g stereo. But who gives a F what anyone thinks, I sure dont, as long as I like it.

If your only out to impress people with a stereo, just dont do it at all. Better nothing at all than looking like an a-hole show off.
Who cares about 'impressing' people, just do what YOU want.

This thread is so sad. Sort of like he's cheating. He can do whatever he wants with his money but I am annoyed he asked for help/opinions and completely ignored them. bigyellowtruck1 may have won the award as the f150online's most foolish member.

Have any of you guys considered that the OP is full of ****? This is a fake thread as noone is stupid enough to pay 12g's for what he has listed.

Well first off slap yourself, then sell your system and tell the store it got stolen, then you can have some of your money back.

Although I think its high..Depending on the scale of the fiberglassing/plexi work ..He might be a touch higher that some of you are thinking..Fiberglass boxes are not just a glue and screw job..The take alot of time and material is not the cheapest either..

$250 for wires and $500 for the custom box seems a little low. But $12,000 total is rather high for this system.
