I have to agree with you. I have built my system around SQ not SPL. However, there are times when it needs to hit hard!!

Not at three in the morning cruising down some residential street!! Or at a stop sign. Must have respect for others..............

I wish they would have more bass..... and then maybe their heads would explode! Then I could just reach over and shut it off. If you want it loud make sure people can understand what's playing, we don't care if you can make every loose part on your car/truck rattle with that bass.

Well,

I'm not a little punk...

I'm 40 and 6'2".

But I understand that this impeads on your personal space. I hate all the road noise also. That includes mufflers (or lack there-of), construction, horns, etc. That is why when you pull up next to my truck you may hear more than you wish but I'll be outta your hair in a jiffy.

If a REAL punk pulls up next to me, I bounce his butt with the volume ****.

Have a better day tomorrow,
Mark

Well call me a punk, but once I get my box built I plan to hit 135db. So if you see some 24 year old in an F150 with all that bass in the next lane, try not to get upset with me.

I feel so bad...I actually had someone write to the local papers editorial column(or whatever part of the paper the regular people write letters too). I have calmed it down though..of course there was this one time I had my stereo going crazy loud with the old couple next to me...they asked me to turn it down and I was like "what? I can't hear you" the people ahead of me were laughing, but I guess that was bad!! But don't worry...I am not like that anymore...I know how to control myself and my stereo!

There is a time for bumpin and there isn't...driving...all for it...at a stop light or stopped...forget about it.

LuvTheC, Try getting rid of the last / at the end of your address. When I clicked you first post it took me to Geocities, but not your page. I took off the / after 5783 hit enter and I got to your page.

You know what they say - "if it's too loud your too old."

I don't understand it either but when I was younger a lot of things I did were insensitive, selfish and just plain obnoxious.

There was one thing that I have tried to keep in mind though. I was young once too! Don't be too hard on 'em

My apologies, the appropriate word instead of PUNK should be Person.
