HOLY CRAP! Check these HIGH power babies out!

I was talking to a buddy of mine that owns a car stereo shop in Florida, and he was telling me about these subs... I almost died when I heard the power these things can handle. These puppies will hold 5,000 watts RMS... YES, I SAID 5,000!!! They peak out at 10,000 watts !!! I have never in my life heard of a sub that holds that kind of power. Could you imagine the money you would have to spend on an amp to power that bad boy!? I have enclosed the link below to their website... check it out!

5,000 WATTS

this whole stero thing is getting out of hand. It seems that every time someone has the highest power rating someone has to top it. I mean no normal person would be able to power even 1 of these subs.
I had 2 rockford power dvc 12 in my single cab f150 a few years ago w/ a kicker amp putting out 900 watts and it would lock up the seat belts when it would hit.

Try using your tongue, it has better conductivity than just your fingers.

Also, you might try heading to harbucks and getting a couple of expressos first.... that might help.

MA audio has a tendancy to stretch the truth. their entire sound department, IMO, has extreme questionable practices. the sub could probably handle about 5000 watts of power, but that doesnt mean the sub will put out all those wattages of power.

for something that really does what it's suppose to (supposivly, i havent heard it myself) check out kicker soloX. rumors have it that the vibe is so powerful at full power, you will vomit

Hmmm, that's like 7 horsepower RMS!

that's over 840 amps worth of power draw if the amps are even 80% efficient! I bet the copper factories love the idea!

True that! A 3" coil would catch fire.

You guys seem to have missed a line.

"Four 1.5-Ohm Flat Wire Aluminum Voice Coils"

This subwoofer is a quad coil? At 1.5 Ohms, you would have no choice but to have 4 separate amps wired IN PHASE to drive this sub.
