Welcome. Just keep up here. This thread is pretty much the only "active" one in the southeast forum.

It's all about the angles the leveling kits create. The bigger the lift, the more the change in angles, the greater the wear on parts.

I went with a 2.0" leveling kit

So far, about 12k+ miles put on with the 3" and I like that I got that much lift. I plan on replacing the ball joints say in another 15k just because everyone says they wear out faster. Because I put so many miles on and I go offroad time to time, I wanted alot of lift for not alot of money. Also, I didnt like the rear being lower then the front, so I put on the AAL. So far, I have put 20 80lb bags of concrete in the bag (1600lbs) not to mention the weight of my tools.

So all in all, No problems so far. I am very happy with it and would like to move up to 35" tires. not sure I've put on enough miles but I can be prepared anyway.

Just checked back in....I am not very familiar with off roads areas in Asheville, but I do know of one about 20 mins north of Asheville. What I dont know is the "permission" level that can be had for strangers (myself included).

I will check on it. Thanks for the welcome. Oh and I only own one gun and its a 9mm...I am guessing you are talking more rifles and shotguns.

All guns are welcome here as long as they're not pointed at us. I just bought a Punisher emblem, aluminum cover plate for my Glock 19.

I'm an idiot, I have a 17. I was just typing in a hurry, But its my baby, I shoot it most, was my first handgun, It has the Special Falcon coating. (Basically the one Will Smith carries in Bad Boys II). I have XS night sights, hi-cap factory mags and extended slide release also. I can outshoot my friend with his Beretta 92/96 which are known to be tack drivers. Maybe he doesnt know what hes doing. I am currently looking to get a G23 for concealed carry. I currently use my Kel-tec P-11 but I want a larger bullet. As Rick said, "You can drop a glock in cement and it'll still fire".
