Meet in/around Charlotte?

OK well, we got the holidays behind us, and we got the "change" behind us. So how about a meet now. I figured I would suggest this place for some food and a few beers and nice scenery...

River's Edge

It's on the West side of Mecklenburg County. What do you guys think?

Take 77 south to the new I-485 outer loop (West/south) stay on it for probably 7-10 miles exit on Moores Chapel road. Hang right at top. Another immediate right. Pass the gas station entrance and hang a left. As best I can figure, roughly 30-40 mins depending on what part of Mooresville. It's a nice place and the pics dont really do it justice. the directions on the main website start from I-485 heading north/east.

http://www.usnwc.org/

The weather starting to warm up, wish a couple more people were intrested.

BTW welcome to the site!!

Just imagine one glass is coke...

I find it hard to believe how little interest there is in a meeting in this region. I remember there being talk about a guy who lived near Uwharrie before Christmas but that thread dropped. (03_Screw) Is there not ANY interest or just a bad idea about the USNWC?

Charlotte is just a bit too far for me, unless I was already down there for some reason.

A few friends and I were talking about camping at Uwharrie, but I've never been.

Hey I'm grabbin at straws here. I figure the biggest concentration would be in Charlotte and I'm familiar with Charlotte. But lets throw some suggestions out there and get something crackin.

We can meet up at the mall and go shopping lol. I havent been to many places in Charlotte other than airport and mall.
4x4 I always let my boy lay in his boppy the same way you got yours.

His mom hates it when I leave him on the couch tho, lol I like it cause I can play xbox and be beside him too!!

Have you figure out that you can put a bottle in an upside down stuffed animal with stiff legs and it puts the bottle at the right angle and you dont have to hold it. Ill try to get a pic next time shes eating.

Sorry hard to capture since she was moving, but as you can see the top of the dog is pretty flat and the legs keep the bottle from rolling off.

Since I was showing her off figured I show the day we met Steve Smith from the Carolina Panthers, he was very nice and remarked how cute she was.
