Got a call this morning saying to come to work late cuz of weather. I looked out the window and was like, what?? Then I turn on the news. Why the heck do I always miss the snow??? I mean there wasnt even frost on the cars.

Im always up for looking at some new toys I think my next purchase will be an AR to replace the LAR-15 I sold last year or maybe one of the new Sig 556's depending on how it feels. Prices have been steadily going up so I cant wait much longer. It just seems every time I get close something else happens and I need to put the $ elsewhere Been about 3 months since my last purchase and im getting itchy..LoL

 

Yeah, I buy 1 gun a year. I built my AR and you can save A BUNCH of money building it yourself.

So lets have a vote. either the 21st we will meet say 10am at the gunshow then head on over to Flying Saucer for lunch and beers.

or

the 28th we'll do the whitewater center and maybe find some trails or something if anybody knows of some.

What do ya'll think?

Saturday, February 21st, @ say 11 a.m. We can meet at the Metrolina Expo. I'll try to get there a little earlier and park away from everything. You can PM/email me and I'll give you my cell phone number if you get lost or are late. Say about 1-1:30 we'll head on over to the Saucer which isnt too far away, maybe 8-10 miles. Then BEERS!

Dont forget your PERMITS!!!!

 

FYI, Ikea also opens in Charlotte on the 18th and I plan on checking it out after the saucer. It's about a mile from there.

Can I ask a favor of y'all? When at the gun show can you look around and get the price on a Springfield XDM 9mm? If it's low enough I might head down and pick one up on Sunday.

What are they offering for the XD local NC? I am going to pick up a XD .40 here in about a month from a shop down the road from me. Taylorsville NC 570.00 OTD with hardcase and all the goodies.
