Truck wont turn over
I have a 2005 F150 4x4, 5.4 , I turn my key to start, and nothing except a " click " from over in my fuse box. I checked the ignition fuse, starter fuse and replaced the ignition relay. St ill have the same problem. All lights and everything else works good, and my battery gauge says it has plenty of charge.Anyone else ever have this??

Yep, try moving the shift lever.. I just went thru this with my dad working on his 71 F250 and could not get it to start (yes I know it's an old truck, but it still has the neutral safety switch!)... Just a click when we tried to start it.. Ended up being the shift lever was just a touch off when in park.. Spent about 2 hours swapping a few other parts and in the end, once we figured out to just put it in N or hold the lever up in P it would crank over just fine.... DOH on us for sure!

I tried moving the shift lever from neutral and back to park and tried to start it in both positions, but it still did nothing. I have the day off tomorrow, so I should have a chance to check out the starter cable and starter. Thanks for all of the suggestions, I appreciate it. If I get it fixed, I'll report what I found.

Here's a quick check to "half-split" the circuit:
1. Turn on the headlights and verify they work well.
2. Hit the "Start" position while observing the headlights.
If the headlights remain on at full brightness, the problem is NOT the battery or battery cable that supplies most of the vechile. If they dim or go out, then focus on the battery, its cables, and connections.
If that test passes, you'll need to explicitly identify where the "clicking" noise is coming from. If it's the starter relay located in the CJB, then you can check off the following as being good: PATS system, DTR sensor (includes NSS function), PCM, and ignition switch.
If the "clicking" is coming from the starter motor itself, you can check off all of the above plus the starter relay and fuse F101. Focus on the starter motor and it's heavy read power cable that goes back to the battery.

Clicking is coming from the fuse box. I crawled under the truck and had my wife turn the key to start the vehicle, I had a 12 volt tester ( ground wire with pointed probe with light on it ), I checked the wires that go to the solenoid and the main wire that goes to the motor, and couldn't get it to light.
