I would have to get rid of all kinds of stuff to park vehicles in my garage, so they stay outside.

once you start driving a truck it is hard to go back.

I would trade in the 08 on a new f150, save the driveway space, insurance and repairs.

I still have 1 kid at home, but I would love to buy a single cab, short bed f150 with a 5.0, add a sports suspension, nice rims and a whipple or roush s/c and make me a current day lightning to drive daily.

The family at this point means I need seating for 4 to 5.

i am by no means a clean freak, but i cant justify letting a $40k truck sit outside while my garage if holding "stuff". i have a builders type (tight) 3 car garage and we park 3 inside. just bought my daughter an crv so the corvette is now in a warehouse under a cover at my business, 400 to 500 miles a year, (ddellwo is saying , why so many miles? )

And I would say the answer probably is, "Because I no longer have a young kid around the house that takes up every last minute of my free time, leaving me with "0" hours per week to do the things I want to do!"

I wish I at least had the option. My drive is about 20 feet wide and 6 feet deep.

I thought about this, however I use my truck for hunting and various outdoor activities that I would hate to use a new truck for. I like the idea of having a daily driver and then my truck for other activities. Also, even though its more expensive to have additional vehicles, I like the ability to have a fallback in the event that one vehicle has to have maintenance performed.

Price ain't bad -- highly doubtful you could build it to that point for what he's asking!

Not yet, I think I have covered most of my options at this point, guess I just need to pull the trigger.

is it me or does the frame look kind of light?

A 32 roadster with no fenders and a small block GM, maybe as much as 1800#s and that's being generous. The 34 Coupe I had with fenders and running boards weighed only 2200# with a small block GM. There's no real weight there as it's all hollow. Take the engine out and the gas tank out and two good men could probably pick the entire car up.

Finally pulled the trigger on a 2016 Explorer Sport. I'll have to get some better pictures of it, but we are in the middle of a storm so it will be a day or two before I can. Here is a teaser from the dealership.

Sweet looking rig -- well done.....

Love those rims -- I wonder if the back-spacing and lug pattern would allow them to be used on the '08 Taurus I am looking to buy?
