once you start driving a truck it is hard to go back.
I would trade in the 08 on a new f150, save the driveway space, insurance and repairs.
I still have 1 kid at home, but I would love to buy a single cab, short bed f150 with a 5.0, add a sports suspension, nice rims and a whipple or roush s/c and make me a current day lightning to drive daily.
The family at this point means I need seating for 4 to 5.
i am by no means a clean freak, but i cant justify letting a $40k truck sit outside while my garage if holding "stuff". i have a builders type (tight) 3 car garage and we park 3 inside. just bought my daughter an crv so the corvette is now in a warehouse under a cover at my business, 400 to 500 miles a year, (ddellwo is saying , why so many miles? )

A 32 roadster with no fenders and a small block GM, maybe as much as 1800#s and that's being generous. The 34 Coupe I had with fenders and running boards weighed only 2200# with a small block GM. There's no real weight there as it's all hollow. Take the engine out and the gas tank out and two good men could probably pick the entire car up.
